Assistant Tennis Coach
Tennis Academy in Annandale, Virginia is looking for an Assistant Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
Mitchell Frank Tennis Academy (MFTA) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Tennis Coach to join our high-performance team. The Assistant Coach will support the development of junior and adult players across various skill levels, with a primary focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging sportsmanship, and promoting a love for the game.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of group practices, private lessons, and developmental clinics.

Provide on-court instruction that aligns with MFTA’s training philosophy and developmental curriculum.

Travel with players to tournaments and provide courtside coaching and mentorship as needed.

Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to both players and parents.

Foster a positive and energetic training environment.

Communicate regularly with the Head Coach and other staff regarding scheduling, training goals, and player development.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes by enforcing proper protocols and court etiquette.

Represent MFTA professionally on and off the court.

Qualifications:
Prior coaching experience at a tennis academy, club, or competitive level preferred.

High-level playing background (college or professional experience is a plus).

Strong understanding of tennis technique, tactics, and player development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

USTA Safe Play certification and CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain).

Passion for working with players of all ages and abilities.

Willingness to travel for tournaments or events when needed.
