Assistant Director of Racquets
Club in Corpus Christi, Texas is looking for a full-time Assistant Director of Racquets.

About the Club
The Corpus Christi Athletic Club (CCAC) is one of the premier multi-sport fitness and wellness facilities in Texas. Our 140,000 sq. ft. campus includes:
• 4 indoor tennis courts
• 8 outdoor tennis courts
• 8 dedicated indoor pickleball courts
• 2 swimming pools (indoor & outdoor)
• 6 workout studios (strength, cycle, yoga, HIIT, dance, and more)
• Full recovery suite including sauna, steam room, and cold plunge
• Gymnastics center
• Child care & kids’ activity center
• 15,000+ members

Position Title
Assistant Director of Racquets
Reports To: Director of Racquets
Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Racquets supports and elevates all racquets operations—tennis and pickleball—through exceptional instruction, event leadership, and reliable administrative support. This full-time leadership role requires a well-rounded tennis AND pickleball professional dedicated to growing engagement, delivering premium service, and strengthening the CCAC racquets community.

Key Responsibilities
Programming & Instruction
• Teach private lessons, group clinics, junior programs, and adult development (tennis & pickleball)
• Lead leagues, socials, tournaments, mixers, and seasonal racquets events
• Support program innovation and player development pathways
Events & Member Experience
• Assist in planning, promoting, and executing racquet-sport events
• Deliver a friendly, professional, and energetic member experience
• Communicate effectively regarding schedules, programs, and department updates
Operations & Administration
• Assist with court scheduling, pro-shop oversight, and inventory management
• Maintain courts, equipment, and facility standards
• Support departmental communication, scheduling, and coordination
Leadership
• Model professionalism, positivity, and high service standards
• Help onboard, mentor, and support part-time coaches and assistants
• Uphold club policies and reinforce safety and service standards

Hours & Schedule
Full-time position; minimum 45 hours/week, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Compensation
• Full-time salary + commission structure + bonuses

Qualifications
• Required: Tennis and pickleball teaching experience
• Strong on-court instruction skills with juniors and adults
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and member-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
• RSPA / PTR / PPR certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
