Head Men’s Tennis Coach
University in Villanova, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Men’s Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the men’s tennis program. Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes and represent Villanova University in a first class manner.

Perform all duties in compliance with all rules, regulations, and bylaws of the NCAA, associated Conferences, and University relating to the conduct and administration of the program.

Title of positions directly supervised: Assistant Coaches

Responsible for the direction and supervision of all activities relative to the training and skill development of student-athletes in preparation for competition.
• Provide technical skill instruction to aid in the development of student-athletes at practices; conduct individual training sessions with student-athletes geared at skill development.
• Develop and execute practice plans that will prepare the team physically and mentally for competition.
• Prepare team for matches by developing strategies and conducting effective and
• organized practices.
• Prepare scouting reports on opponents in preparation for competition.
• Monitor student-athletes academic progress ensuring student athletes meet eligibility standards and advance towards a degree.
• Monitor and assist in the rehabilitation of injured student-athletes as directed by the team of Physicians and Sports Medicine staff.
• Coordinate with Sports Medicine and Strength & Conditioning staff to organize and monitor the physical conditioning of student-athletes.
