Junior Tennis Coach
Club in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a Junior Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Junior Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to have a background in tennis, with a focus on Jr. tennis following the USTA red, orange, green dot and yellow ball training program.

Candidate must be available from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Monday – Thursday)

Key Responsibilities:

Teach group clinics and individual lessons for junior players at various skill levels.
Learn and implement our age-appropriate lesson plans and progression pathways.
Assist in assessment of player skill levels, give feedback, and track progress.
Supervise students on and off the court, ensuring safety and proper court behavior.
Assist with clinic operations: taking attendance, setting up equipment, cleaning up after clinic.
Support, as needed, tennis programming such as tournaments, social events, and junior development initiatives.

Qualifications:

Previous coaching or playing experience in tennis (juniors preferred).
Certification helpful (USPTA, PTR, or similar) or willingness to pursue.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
First Aid / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and developmental learning environment.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and certification.
