Assistant Tennis Professional
Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Country Club is a member owned private facility located in south Kansas City, MO on the border of Kansas and Missouri. We have 7 total courts with 5 indoor year-round that are climate controlled. Three of the indoor courts are lined for pickleball for 6 total pickleball courts. There is a dedicated fully stocked tennis pro shop building with men’s and women’s locker rooms. We are searching for a full-time Assistant Tennis Professional to help run our adult and high-performance junior program, teaching private/group lessons. BHCC has a very active tennis playing membership. Much of our activity involves our ladies and junior programming. We have competitive adult teams and a junior program with many players having gone on to play college tennis. The Assistant Tennis Professional will oversee numerous adult clinics and be an integral part of our BHCC junior academy.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of teaching experience and be motivated to become a leading professional in the tennis industry. The Tennis Professional will be involved in all aspects of the rackets department at BHCC including private lessons, group lessons, socials, tournaments, league organization, office hours, etc. They will report to and assist the Director of Tennis with all the tennis center needs.

All applicants must be highly organized, consistently arrive early for all scheduled activities, have good communication skills, have a professional demeanor, and be an ambassador for the club. Our membership is extremely welcoming with a family-friendly feel for whom we provide a high level of service.

Compensation will include salary, percentage of lessons, hourly rate, plus benefits when eligible.
