Athletic Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is seeking an accomplished, high-energy Full-Time Tennis Professional to join our growing coaching team. With strong player demand, year-round indoor and outdoor courts, and $100,000+ annual earning potential, this is an opportunity for a great coach to build a meaningful career, a strong book of business, and lasting relationships within an active tennis community.

Athletic Club is a thriving racquet-sports destination in Central Pennsylvania, featuring 6 indoor hard courts, 8 outdoor Har-Tru courts, and 2 padel courts. Since coming under new ownership in 2020, RCW has experienced significant growth in membership, programming, and energy.

Our tennis community is active, welcoming, and serious about getting better. We have strong demand for private instruction, clinics, junior development, leagues, team coaching, and competitive programming—and we are looking for an exceptional Tennis Professional to help us continue elevating the player experience.

The right coach will be comfortable working across levels—from beginners discovering the game to competitive juniors and advanced adult players—and will bring professionalism, positive energy, and a team-first mindset to our coaching staff.

What You Will Do

Deliver high-quality private lessons, semi-private instruction, and group clinics for junior and adult players.
Coach across skill levels, including competitive juniors and advanced adults.
Use strong technical and tactical knowledge to help players work toward clear goals.
Build meaningful relationships with players, families, and members.
Contribute fresh ideas that strengthen RCW’s tennis programming.
Support USTA team practices, leagues, seasonal camps, competitive programming, and club events.
Communicate professionally with players and families and collaborate closely with the Club coaching team.

Who Will Thrive Here

A coach with a meaningful track record of high-quality tennis instruction and player development.
Ideally 5+ years of professional coaching experience, particularly with competitive juniors and advanced adults.
A strong competitive playing background is valued. College, professional, or high-level junior experience is a plus, but is not required for a proven high-level teacher.
PTR or RSPA professional teaching certification, or a commitment to earning one.
An engaging communicator with a confident on-court presence who genuinely enjoys working with people.
A hardworking, team-first professional with high standards, positive energy, and no ego.
Someone comfortable with the realities of a great racquet club, including some evenings, weekends, events, and seasonal programming.

Compensation

The Club offers a competitive, performance-based compensation structure tied to private instruction, clinics, and programming.

The right professional can build annual earnings of $100,000+. Actual earnings are based on coaching activity, bookings, programming, and revenue generated and are not a guaranteed salary.

Specific terms will be matched to the candidate’s experience, credentials, teaching track record, and ability to contribute.
