Head Tennis Coach
College in Bel Air, Maryland is looking for a Head Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
The Head Coach is responsible for providing instruction to athletes, recruiting and retaining student athletes in an effort to provide opportunities for team and individual academic and athletic success; organizing and conducting practices; assisting with the hiring of assistant coaches; and ensuring adherence to the NJCAA Code of Ethics. The Head Coach supports and participates in development, fundraising and corporate sponsorship efforts in partnership with the Harford Community College Foundation; and performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.

Required Education
A high School diploma or GED and college credits with a minimum of 60 hours or more are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Required Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience, to include a combination of active game situation coaching at the high school, club/select, or collegiate level and professional playing/coaching experience; experience with recruiting efforts and student-athlete retention; and experience and participation in development, fundraising and corporate sponsorship efforts.
