Director of Tennis & Pickleball
Club in Dublin, Ohio is looking for a Director of Tennis & Pickleball.

Position Overview:
Program Development and Management
• Create, implement, and oversee comprehensive racquet sports programs for all ages and skill levels, including lessons, clinics, leagues, and tournaments.
• Develop innovative strategies to grow participation and member engagement in racquet sports.
• Coordinate special events, exhibitions, and competitions to enhance the member experience.

Member and Guest Relations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members regarding racquet sports activities, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Solicit feedback and implement changes to meet the evolving needs of the membership.
• Promote racquet sports programs through effective communication and marketing.

Facility and Equipment Management
• Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of all racquet courts and facilities to ensure they are in excellent condition.
• Manage inventory, including racquets, balls, and other related equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure facilities meet safety and aesthetic standards.

Team Leadership and Training
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage racquet sports professionals and support staff.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, emphasizing teamwork and professional development.
• Create staff schedules to meet program and operational needs.

Financial Management
• Develop and manage the racquet sports budget, ensuring cost control and revenue generation.
• Track and report on key metrics such as participation rates and program profitability.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve financial goals.

Compliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with all club policies, state, and local laws.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols for all racquet sports activities.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
o Proven track record in racquet sports instruction and program management.
o Experience in a club or hospitality environment is a plus.
• Certifications:
o Certification from the USPTA, PTR, or similar governing body preferred.
o CPR and first aid certifications.

Skills and Competencies
• Strong knowledge of tennis, pickleball, and other racquet sports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting.
• Marketing and promotion expertise to grow program participation.

Working Conditions
