Head Platform & Pickleball Professional
Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Platform & Pickleball Professional.

Position Overview:
The Paddle and Pickleball Head Professional will work closely with the Director of Paddle and Pickleball to support the overall management and operation of the paddle and pickleball programs at The Merion Cricket Club. This role involves providing instruction, organizing teams and events, and ensuring a positive experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both paddle and pickleball, coaching skills, and a strong desire to contribute to the growth of these sports.

Key Responsibilities (But Not Limited To):
• Assist in providing high-quality instruction to individuals and groups with varying skill levels.
• Support the development and implementation of lesson plans and training programs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a comprehensive program schedule, including group classes, leagues, and special events.
• Help identify opportunities for program improvement and expansion.
• Support in the organization and execution of paddle and pickleball tournaments, exhibitions, and special events.
• Assist with registration, scheduling, and logistics for day-to-today operations.
• Assist in ensuring all paddle and pickleball equipment is in good condition and properly maintained.
• Collaborate with the Director of Paddle and Pickleball for any necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Build positive relationships with members and guests, offering exceptional customer service.
• Assist in communicating program updates, event schedules, and other relevant information through various channels.

About The Merion Cricket Club:
Founded in 1865, The Merion Cricket Club located in scenic Haverford, Pennsylvania, is situated on Philadelphia’s Main Line, approximately 7 miles outside of Center City. Its majestic Clubhouse overlooks a sea of green known as the “Great Lawn” which hosts year-round sporting activities in tennis, cricket, and croquet, including national and international competitive events.
