Director of U12 Player Development
Tennis Academy in Charleston, South Carolina is looking for a Director of U12 Player Development.

Position Overview:
Core Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the junior tennis program, ensuring alignment with the goals and values of LTP Academy.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and reach of the program, attracting new players and developing them for LTP’s high performance and academy programs.
• Provide guidance, training, mentorship, and leadership to junior tennis coaches, supporting their professional development and ensuring consistent coaching standards.
• Coordinate tournaments for red, orange, and green/yellow ball players, managing logistics, scheduling, and participant communication.
• Collaborate with local schools to introduce junior tennis through after-school programs, expanding access to tennis opportunities for children in the community.
• Plan and oversee summer camps tailored to different age groups and skill levels, creating engaging and developmental tennis experiences for participants.
• Work closely with the LTP Academy and Pro-Program Director to align the junior program with the overall vision of the organization.
• Develop a pipeline of talented junior players to transition into the high-performance and Junior Academy programs.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Education, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in coaching and program management within the tennis industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate coaches and young athletes.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of USTA (United States Tennis Association) rules and regulations for junior tennis programs.
• Passion for youth development and commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive tennis culture.
