Head Racquets Professional
Country Club in Lake Forest, Illinois is looking for a full-time Head Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
As one the most prestigious country clubs on the north shore, the Knollwood Club features state of the art tennis and platform facilities. The Racquets facility has 4 platform tennis courts with full bar and grill. 5 har-tru hydro tennis courts, with one pickleball court with plan to add 4 – 6 more, pro shop and terrace for great viewing along with a scenic 18-hole golf course. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, friendly person to provide outstanding service in a professional and courteous manner to our members and guests. The candidate;
• Will be working alongside and learning from a Director of Racquets who has over 25 years teaching experience.
• Must be USPTA and/or PTR certified and be a 4.0 or higher rated player.
• Will promote, teach and further develop our comprehensive Junior Develop Program.
• Will promote, teach and further develop our Adult clinics, leagues, cardio tennis and theme clinics and events.
• Will also promote and teach private lessons and clinics to juniors and adults.
• Will string racquets and advise the Director of Racquet on strings, grips, racquets and inventory needed for the shop.
• Will keep the tennis, platform tennis & pickleball section of the club website up to date.
• Will help market and promote our Racquets programs and events through our club website, emails and phone calls.
• Will help keep the courts and areas immediately around the facility tidy. This includes helping clean and fill the water coolers, empty the trash on the courts, blow off the courts, etc, when needed.
• Will strive to teach a minimum of 30 hours a week.
• Will turn in a monthly lesson, clinic, stringing report.
• Will attend weekly or monthly meetings with the club and tennis staff when requested.
• Will schedule monthly/Weekly staff schedules for Jr. Staff.

Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package depending on experience it also offers health insurance, dental insurance, and a retirement plan as well as a possibility of on-site living.
