Head Racquets Professional
Club in Deal, New Jersey is looking for a Head Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
Working closely with the Director of Racquet Sports (DoRS), you’ll lead engaging adult and junior lessons, events, clinics, and team practices in tennis and pickleball. As a key team member, you’ll partner with the DoRS and Racquets Center Office Manager to ensure clear communication, smooth operations, and top-tier service across all programs. Your focus: delivering exceptional member and guest experiences while
driving program growth and revenue through outstanding engagement.

About Golf Club
The Golf Club, founded in 1898, located in Deal, New Jersey, is proud to offer Members the finest in dining and sporting activities, including a nationally ranked championship golf course designed by Walter J. Travis in 1917 and masterfully restored by
Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf Design in 2014.

The racquets facility includes:
● Eight Har-Tru tennis courts.
● Two outdoor pickleball courts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Engaging Lessons: Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive lessons for adults and juniors across all skill levels in both group and private settings for tennis and pickleball.
• Collaborate on Events: Support the DoRS in organizing and promoting events, clinics, round robins, and team practices for tennis.
• Create a Positive Member Experience: Work hand-in-hand with our DoRS to deliver stellar service, proactively address member needs, and ensure they feel valued.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in teaching tennis and pickleball to players of all ages and skill levels.
  Strong collegiate playing background.
• Personable, with the ability to quickly build rapport with members.
• Passionate about tennis and pickleball.
• USPTA, PTR, PPTA, or PPR teaching certification preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

Base Salary of $30,000 to $35,000 (commensurate with experience) paid biweekly, plus 70% of revenue from private lessons. Meals and Uniform provided. Health, Vision, and Dental insurance available after 90 days.

Essential Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years old
· Able to work 40–45 hours per week with consistent, reliable attendance
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Regular and predictable attendance
· Physically able to perform on court job duties
