Assistant Racquets Professional
Country Club in New City, New York is looking for an Assistant Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
About the Position:
The Assistant Racquets Professional is responsible for supporting the management of all tennis/pickleball operations at Paramount Country Club and club property, consistent with the direction and policies established by the General Manager and ownership.

The assistant racquets professional reports to the Director of Racquets. She/he will
offer support to the racquets department. That includes the court maintenance staff,
tennis shop attendant(s), teaching professionals, etc…

Specific responsibilities and roles include, but are not limited to:
*Implementation of the Club Tennis Program
i.e. clinics, season-long ladder, tournaments
*Inter Club Events and Matches
*USTA Team Management – team creation, scheduling, etc…
*Individual and Group Lessons
*Member Services – Anticipating and Exceeding
*Scheduling

Compensation:
The Club will offer a competitive compensation plan (ranging from 700-800 per week), commensurate with experience, 100% of lesson income, potential for bonus, expenses, etc. This is a seasonal position from May through October.

About the Ideal Candidate:
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of responsible club tennis/racquet experience. A track record of program-building experience, generating a tennis culture throughout a club. Playing aptitude geared towards lessons and clinics. Paramount is seeking a strong leader who possesses excellent operational and analytical skills with a proactive work style to anticipate the club and industry’s present and future needs. Visibility, along with the genuine enjoyment of building member relationships and being in an active and social environment, are key attributes for the next Assistant Racquets Professional.

Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable in best practices and trends in the world of tennis and other racquet sports, including pickleball. Previous club experience is a plus!
