Summer Tennis Professional
Club in Narragansett, Rhode Island is looking for a Summer Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Private Beach and Tennis Club is looking for a tennis professional for the summer season (June-August)
Responsibilities include teaching private and group tennis lessons 30-40 hours weekly including juniors from beginning level up to high school players, adult clinics for all levels, cardio clinics, and tennis/sports camp. They will assist in the organization and implementation of socials and special events for both adults and juniors. Knowledge of pickleball is preferred but not required. Being comfortable using a point of sale terminal and experience in a full service tennis shop also is an advantage.

Candidates need to possess these attributes:
o College level and tournament playing experience
o Experience with all levels and ages of junior players
o Comfortable teaching adults of all levels
o High energy, innovative, high need for achievement
o Ability to perform sales, answer phones, and interact with members on a daily basis
o Professional appearance and demeanor required for an exclusive/high end club
o Committed to the team of teaching professionals who all report to the Director of tennis and the ability to fit into the club culture
o Prepared to work up to 40 hours on court a week

Compensation will include percentage based commission on all private instruction, hourly rates for group clinics and camps, and a weekly salary.

Included in the compensation is free housing for the entire season as well as free meals at the club.
