Tennis Instructor
Tennis facility in Peoria, Illinois is looking for a Tennis Instructor.

Position Overview:
Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager of Athletics & Recreation Services and the Sports Coordinator, the Tennis Instructor is responsible for the following:
• Understand, interpret and maintain the Peoria Park District and Athletic Department’s standards and policies.
• Responsible for teaching and instructing tennis lessons to children and adults.
• Inventory equipment and make sure the environment is clean and safe for the participants.
Other: This position will work at multiple tennis sites throughout Peoria

Qualifications
Experience Individual must be 15 years or older with preference given to an individual with training and tennis playing experience.

Knowledge and Ability
• Desire and ability to work with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Possess the ability to lead others in group and individual activities, demonstrating necessary steps and skills.
• The position requires effective communication with staff and program participants as well as the ability to respond effectively and quickly in varying situations.
• Ability to be professional, respectful, accountable, innovative, to follow safety procedures, and be equitable to both internal and external customers
