Tennis & Padel Coach
Tennis Academy in Miami, Florida is looking for a Tennis & Padel Coach.

Position Overview:
The Tennis Academy runs 9 school programs in Doral and operates 3 academies in Doral and Miami Gardens, offering both tennis, pickleball, and pádel programs.

We are a successful tennis academy in Miami, working with high-quality and friendly professionals who value hard work and enjoy having fun while constantly challenging and improving their coaching skills.

We are currently looking for motivated, responsible, and dedicated coaches who are eager to grow, work with joy, and help kids discover the wonderful sports of tennis, pickleball, and padel!

Experience in all 3 is preferred, but we also support to get certified in any of those missing sport certifications.

Basic Requirements:

Copy of the following documents sent by email:

- Florida driver’s license.

- Employment Authorization Card.

- Professional resume with certifications and recognitions as a Tennis Coach in PDF or Word format.

- Bilingual (Spanish and English)

- Satisfactory level 2 criminal background check (instructions for this will be sent separately).

Coach Profile Required:

- A Kids-Friendly coach with high standards of integrity and accountability, who conveys respect and trust to our clients at all times.

- A coach with excellent communication skills, especially with children.

- A coach who listens, understands and positively encourages all players at every training session.

- A coach with a good energetic attitude during all classes who likes to rally and play with his/her players, and who always actively participates in all class activities, including balls pick-up to minimize resting time for all participants.

- A person with a positive attitude for work, organized, who likes to learn new things every day and likes the idea of planning and working as a team to achieve objectives and goals set out in common among the work team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Satisfactory performance of all job duties and responsibilities consists of:

- Attending work ahead of time and starting classes at the agreed times.

- Allowing at least 5-10 minutes prior to class to prepare the work area (preparation of mini-nets, warm-up materials and equipment, etc.).

- Planning in advance all the tennis lessons to be held with clear objectives to be met.

- Keeping a record of student attendance in all classes held.

- Train all players professionally, with high-energy and respect at all times.

- Monitor and evaluate the progress and development of the players on a regular basis, delivering a semi-annual performance evaluation report.

- To always maintain good rapport and effective verbal and written communication with clients informing them of progress made, options for improvement, upcoming tournaments to participate in and any other relevant for their benefit.

- Any other duties that the coaching team agrees to perform for the benefit of the good and better running of the Academy.

Schedules:

- Class hours vary between 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. during weekdays and between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during weekends (under normal conditions Sundays are off).

- We currently have one full-time and one part-time offer available, between 10 and 40 hours per week, depending on the coach profile we will discuss the options available to each candidate (there is always opportunity for increase of hours and growth within the academy as the working relationship and job performance evolves).
