Pickleball Professional & Pro Shop Associate
Club in Ave Maria, Florida is looking for a Pickleball Professional & Pro Shop Associate.

Position Overview:
The National at Ave Maria is seeking a dynamic and energetic Pickleball Professional to lead and grow our pickleball programming while supporting overall racquet sports operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional looking to gain hands-on experience in both instruction and the business side of a racquet sports facility.

This position may be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual with a strong pickleball background (4.5+ level preferred) who is eager to teach, connect with players, and contribute to a fun, social, and engaging club environment. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is open to learning all facets of racquet sports operations. Tennis knowledge or willingness to assist with tennis programming is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop pickleball clinics, drills, and private lessons, with a focus on strategy, consistency, and competitive play
Create an engaging and welcoming experience for members and guests of all ages and skill levels
Assist with tennis clinics or programming as needed or desired
Support and participate in events, socials, and tournaments

Pro Shop & Operations:

Provide front desk coverage and assist with member/guest check-in
Operate POS system for retail and program transactions
Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and restocking
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop
Open and close the shop as needed
Compensation
$17/hour for pro shop and operational duties
Commission-based earnings for pickleball lessons and clinics
Flexible hours with part-time or full-time potential based on availability and performance
Qualifications
4.5+ pickleball level (preferred) with teaching experience or strong playing background
Tennis experience or willingness to be cross-trained is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Energetic, reliable, and highly motivated personality
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills; POS experience is a plus
Schedule
Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends.
