Assistant Tennis Professional
Tennis facility in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Dates:
This position runs from June 23 – Labor Day

What the role looks like:
• Mix of junior clinics, adult clinics/events, and private lessons
• Only ~10 hours/week of junior clinics (covers base salary)
• Schedule built to allow plenty of time for privates.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong player
• Can bring enthused energy with both adults and kids
• Comfortable maintaining clay courts
• Can string racquets
• Interest in golf is a plus

Comp:
• $475/week base (covers ~10–12 clinic hours)
• $40–$50/hour private lessons
• Free housing
• Free lunch daily (and often dinners)

The upside:
Last summer, our assistant was doing ~15 private lessons/week without much effort to fill the book. Between that and the low cost of living (housing + food covered), it’s very realistic to clear around $20K over the 10-week stretch.

It’s a great setup if you want a strong coaching experience, a fun summer environment, and the chance to actually make/save money in a beautiful outdoor setting.

About Great Island
Great Island is a summer-oriented residential community of approximately 600 acres in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts on the south shore of Cape Cod. The island, which is accessible by road, consists of pristine beaches on Nantucket Sound and Lewis Bay, marshland, fields, forested conservation land, a sheltered cove, a historic lighthouse and 41 privately owned homes. Other amenities include a small seasonal restaurant, a 10-hole rustic golf course, four Har-Tru tennis courts, two pickleball courts, and two docks.
