Director of Racquets
Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia is looking for a Director of Racquets.

Position Overview:
Responsible for overall operation of the Rome Tennis Center. This includes maintenance and improvement of services and security and protection of the assets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Considerable knowledge of Tennis industry.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office application and the ability, within a defined time, to become proficient with Tyler Technologies and other software that is required to perform functions related to the job role.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to coordinate and execute recruitment of tournaments and events.
• Has moderate typing ability, is methodical and has strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Ability to accept new challenges and changes.
• Must have the ability to develop short- and long-term goals for the facilities to promote effectiveness and efficiency
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, management, elected officials and members of the public.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in tennis or racquet sports programming, instruction, or operations, including at least two (2) years of supervisory or program management experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must already possess or obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100, 200, 700, and 800 within three (3) months of employment.
