A well-established tennis club in Greenwich, Connecticut is seeking an energetic, visionary, and business-minded Director of Tennis. The facility features high-quality indoor and outdoor courts, thriving junior and adult programs, and complementary swim and fitness amenities. Key Responsibilities:

Program & Event Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee a dynamic curriculum for all adult and junior programs, including high-performance paths, recreational leagues, clinics, and internal tournaments.

Staff Management & Mentorship: Recruit, train, schedule, and inspire a team of teaching professionals. Push staff to strive for greatness in their coaching standards and court management.

Business Operations & Growth: Oversee court utilization, lesson programming, and staff scheduling. Work alongside club management to out-perform revenue targets.

Member & Community Engagement: Maintain a high-profile, welcoming, and high-energy presence at the club. Actively engage with members, address feedback, and foster a vibrant, competitive, and inclusive club culture.

On-Court Instruction: Maintain a select teaching schedule, leading by example on court to inspire both students and staff with your passion for player development.

Job Requirements

Drive & Mindset: An unmistakable, fierce passion for on-court tennis coaching, a competitive spirit, and a clear hunger for professional growth and career advancement.

Player Development: Demonstrated ability to develop and coach the highest level of junior players, successfully guiding athletes to national rankings and collegiate scholarships.

Experience: A proven track record as an elite, high-energy Director of Tennis, Head Professional, or a rising leader ready for a major career step, ideally within a commercial club or country club setting.

Leadership Style: A charismatic, highly organized communicator who excels at team building, driving performance, and elite customer service.

Playing Ability: High-level college playing experience or equivalent competitive background.
