Head Tennis Professional / Assistant Director of Racquets
Country Club in Concord, Massachusetts is looking for a Head Tennis Professional / Assistant Director of Racquets.

Position Overview:
Summary:
Assist the Racquets Director (RD) with setting up and running programs, teaching lessons, managing staff and all other aspects of the racquet’s programs. Be present at all major functions and responsible for the operation in the RD’s absence. This Professional is a year-round position assisting and leading tennis, pickleball, and platform tennis lessons, clinics, and events. The position will have administrative responsibilities and will report directly to the RD. A successful candidate will be career-oriented, have an outgoing personality and have tennis teaching experience. A desired candidate will have a tennis playing level of 5.0 NTRP or higher, have an energetic and upbeat personality, and have computer efficiency including Microsoft Office programs.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
• Assist the RD in the development of programs for adults including competitive and recreational activities.
• Promote and help run socials, tournaments, and other Club events.
• Assist with the management of Assistant Tennis/Pickleball professionals.
• Work cooperatively with the Grounds staff in the maintenance of all tennis facilities. This position will ensure court surfaces and facility are in peak condition. Be responsible for Clay court maintenance (roll, sweep, line, irrigation). Blow debris/leaves…off courts to ensure playability.
• Assist with member communications.
• Provide organizational and structural support for Junior team practice and play.
• Instruct adult and junior clinics for tennis, platform tennis & pickleball.
• Represent County Club in exhibitions and social matches.
• Foster a community spirit and emphasize member engagement in promoting racquets activities and programs.
• Racquet stringing.

Qualifications:
• Two or more years of private club coaching experience required.
• USPTA, PTR, PPR, PPTR; certified or willing to be certified.
• Have played tennis at a collegiate level preferred.

Compensation will include a competitive salary plus commission on private/group lessons and clinics. The position will also offer 401K, health and dental insurance, employee meal, certification reimbursement, and uniform. Housing is also available if needed and incorporated into the compensation package.
