Tennis Professional
Club in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts is looking for a Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Staff Professional will report to the Director of Junior Tennis and have chief responsibility for overseeing one of the 4 summer camps offered at the club during the months of June, July & August. Additional teaching opportunities are available during the spring and fall, but are not a requirement of the position.

The Staff Professional will work with athletes 8-16 in a weekly camp program that runs M-F, 9:00-3:00. The level of play is primarily recreational with some year-round players. The player-to-coach ratio is generally 3:1 or 4:1. The Staff Professional will work alongside high school, college, and professional staff.

The compensation is a combination of hourly pay and lesson commissions. 10K-20K

History
Founded in 1877, Longwood Cricket Club has played a pioneering role in the evolution of tennis. Originally a cricket club, the club took up lawn tennis, began organizing regional tournaments, and moved to its current Chestnut Hill location in 1922. Today, the club has members playing at all levels of tennis and participating in a wide range of social activities—for adults and children—during the season from April through November. Longwood has always been a club for its members who enjoy its facilities and community and appreciate its tennis history.

Campus
The club has 44 courts—25 grass and 19 clay—in its scenic ten acres. The setting also features three swimming pools, indoor and outdoor dining facilities, a comfortable clubhouse with its renowned front porch, and extraordinary landscaping.
