Tennis Center in Flushing, New York is looking for a Head Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Head Tennis Professional – Adults at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is a highly visible leadership role within one of the world’s most iconic tennis facilities. Reporting to the Director of Tennis Operations and working closely with the Head Tennis Professional – Junior Development, Sr Business Manager, Programs Office staff, and leading their direct reports, this position is ideal for a passionate, experienced professional who can immediately step into a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running in both on-court delivery and program development. The successful candidate will establish trust and respect with a diverse team of experienced and developing professionals while overseeing established, high-demand weekday programming—including morning classes—and continuously elevating lesson planning, content creation, and the overall player experience.

This role includes 28 on-court hours each week within a minimum work week of at least 35 hours, along with administrative responsibilities related to player relations, staff leadership, scheduling, and overall program support. The Head Tennis Professional will also provide and coordinate appropriate professional development for tennis professionals and serve as an effective liaison between the NTC, its customers, and relevant external organizations.
