Club in South Hamilton, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
About the Club
Founded in 1875, Myopia Hunt Club is one of the oldest and most historic country clubs in the United States. Myopia is located on the North Shore of Boston in the town of South Hamilton, MA. The club has a strong year-round racquets program that includes tennis (7 Har-Tru courts), platform tennis (4 courts), squash (2 courts) and pickleball. Myopia also has an exceptional 18 hole golf course that has hosted 4 U.S. Open Championships, an equestrian program that includes fox hunting, polo, and premier stables; and a pool facility with snack bar. The main and lower clubhouses offer formal and more casual dining options and various rooms for socializing and events. With a membership of 385 families, Myopia fosters close relationships and a strong sense of community that spans the generations.

Assist the Director of Racquets and Head Racquets Professional in all aspects of the racquet department operations. Provide excellent instruction and hospitality to our membership.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Teach private and group lessons in tennis and pickleball to all ages
• Assist with the development and management of all Junior programs
• Assist in running events
• Help members in anyway you can with exceptional hospitality
• Administer and promote round robins, drop-in, ladders, tournaments, and all other events as applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Racquet Stringing

Job Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years as a Tennis Professional. • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. • Have played tennis at a collegiate or professional level

Preferences: Teaching Experience, College Degree, Strong Tennis Playing Ability 5.0+, Certifications

Compensation will include commission on private/group lessons and clinics, stringing income, and a competitive salary. The position will also offer housing, employee meal, and uniform.
