Director of Coaching
Club in Riverdale, New York is looking for a Director of Coaching.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tennis Professional to lead the coaching team at our premier, market-leading junior tennis program.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who thrives on building strong teams, has a mature work ethic and will work both individually and collectively with coaches to establish a team that will wow students and parents.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will:
Curate the best teaching staff in the market through coaching and recruitment
Ensure a fun, high-energy and inspiring experience for every student by:
1. Creating thoughtful and well-balanced class groupings that set everyone up for success
2. Delivering an exciting, faced paced and engaging curriculum
3. Providing enthusiastic, hands on and highly passionate instructors

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:
Have lead and managed a polished, high performing coaching team
Be experienced in delivering high energy lessons that reflect technical excellence and professionalism
Be proficient in building strong, personal relationships with students and families to foster trust, engagement and retention
Lead by example with enthusiasm, accountability and integrity and promote a unified coaching philosophy aligned with program goals

Schedule and Compensation
Sept – June Schedule: 10:30 am-6:30 pm M-F (except camp weeks) and Sunday 8:00am-2:00 pm
Summer Schedule (13 weeks): 8am-5pm M-F and Sunday 8:00am-2:00 pm
Salary in the amount of $70,000 plus $30,000 towards housing in Riverdale (within walking distance of the club)
Receive attainment bonuses
Private lessons ($200 per hour compensation) – 10 hours allowed during shift before 4pm M-F and/or Sunday
Summer private lessons allowed between 8am-9:30 am and/or after 4pm M-F and/or Sunday
4 weeks vacation
